Mobillen's team is formed of IT specialists, telecommunication specialists and economists which are involved professionaly in the cell phones industry and which are passionated and have fun with what they do. Mobillen can be considered as a free time hobby and we all enjoy what we are doing. We do not pretend that we have the best ideas in the cell phone industry on the web, but Mobillen it is for the moment in an experimental phase and all our services are free; in this case there is no risk for our visitors to request our opinions about mobile phones and necessary accessories.

Some of the companies we always recommend when someone wants to buy a phone are Nokia, Motorola, Sony-Ericsson and Samsung. From there manufacturers you can always find very good quality phones, all sizes and colors. This not means that we do not recommend cell phones from other companies, but before this we make some evaluations about all characteristics of the mobile phones compared with your general information.

In this section we would like to present you the star of the season: Apple iPhone. Apple just made a combination between iPod, mobile and Internet tablet.

The speculations have become a reality: Apple finally presented the long waited iPhone. This device has three function in one single packet: quality iPod, with Flash memory of 4 or 8 GB, which plays music, photos and video in MPEG-4 format. The devide does not have the feature to buy directly with iPhone, operation which works with the cable connecte to PC or Mac. More than this the iPhone has the role of a cell phone, in GSM networks and uses the EDGE standard for data transfer. UMTS is missing, at least in the version which it is commercialized in US. Aplle did nor specified yet what types of bluetooth profiles are supported by iPhone. Last but not least, the cell phone it is an useful tool in web browsing and connects in hotspot at WLAN network(802.11b and 802.11g). The device has an email client, browserSafari known from Mac OS X and Google Maps. The browser is extensible through the plug-in function. Apple intends, at least for the moment, to be the unique supplier of software; software and interfaces from other companies are not supported for the moment by this cell phone.

Of course you will wonder why som many features. As we said befoe, Mobillen does not encourages the use of cell phones with so many features like iPhone, if you really do not need it. But, you might need it...

As an operation platform this wonderful cell phone uses the Mac OS X system, optimized for iPhone, more exactly in the energy administration. The features correspond to those known from Nokia cell phones Serie N. Regarding the using of this cell phone, Apple has chosen a new way: iPhone it is controlled through a touchscreen of big dimmensions, without needing a touch-pen. For example, to scale an imageit is enough to put two fingers on the surface of the screen. The scroll operations and zoom operations have worked perfectly when Mobillen tested the phone. The edit of the texts, considering the small keys, was made with no difficulties. More than this, the use of it is simplified by sensor keys. If iPhone it is twisted in vertical plane, the menu for video and photo it is automatically showed. The sensor deactivates completely the touchscreen, when the phone it is near the hear, in order to save the energy when you spoke to the phone. When the device it is at 5-10 cm of the head , the operation system appears, and mailbox function can be easily accessed.

IPhone behaved very well at data input, but in camera mode the reactions were a little delayed. The software it is made in the Apple style, this means it is very intuitive, with a few exceptions.

Another current project we are involved in it is the recent announcement of LG of the new cell phone, Prada. Like the iPhone from Apple, the mobile phone it is a device with a touchscreen on all its surface, the colors beeing "black Prada" and having a white minimalistic user interface. It seema that Prada made more than to put the logo on this device. According to LG, Prada has been involved in the external look of KE850, in the user experience, ring tones, the loaded content, accessories as well as the cool leather box. The mobile phone will have a 2 megapixels camera with Schneider-Kreuznach, video player, document viewer, MP3 player, microSD slot, Macromedia Flash interface, it will be EDGE triband ( 900/1800/1900 ) and it will have also bluetooth 2.0. The dimensionsare only 98.8x54x12mm and it will be available in stores with the prices having $700 and you will be able to find this cell phone also in some Prada stores from UK, France, Germany and Italy.

We like very much this LG project and we think it will be a huge success. We did not tested it yet, but we are looking forward to it. After this we will relase our reports and make a more detailed descriptions of the great features.
